Biwak · For SMEs
Biwak handles office tasks on your computer: writing quotes, analysing spreadsheets, amending contracts. Independent of the USA and China.
Biwak is pronounced “BEE-vak”, like the English word bivouac.

Four everyday office tasks, shown in the tool itself: a file goes in, the task is a single sentence, and at the end a finished file is waiting.
Turn this into a spreadsheet for me, one row per transaction. Amounts with plus or minus signs.
Four columns: booking date, transaction, amount, S/H.
S/H isn’t a sign. S stands for Soll (debit), so it becomes negative; H (Haben, credit) stays positive.
Row 2 runs over two lines — the payer sits below the description. Those belong together.
The reference numbers are buried in the description. They get a column of their own.
Finally I’ll add up the amounts and check them against the balance. Otherwise I won’t notice if a row is missing.

Seven transactions. I’ve added up the amounts: 14.902,55 − 2.978,60 = 11.923,95 — exactly the balance shown on the statement.

Enter this order as a sales order. Please check the prices against our price list.
Six line items. The item numbers are the customer’s, not ours.
preisliste-2026.csv lists the customer’s number next to each of ours — that’s how I can match them.
Line 2 is ordered in packs of 100. That’s 500 pieces, not 5.
Line 4 is ordered at 18,90 €; our list says 19,60 €.
I won’t quietly adjust that. I’ll keep the ordered price and flag the line — that’s for sales to decide.

Six line items, 4.119,10 € net. Line 4 differs: ordered at 18,90 €, price list 19,60 € — a difference of 28,00 €. I’ve kept the ordered price and flagged the line.

This clause replaces § 2(3) in every contract in this folder.
30 files in the folder, all .docx.
Don’t replace blindly: the paragraph isn’t on the same page in every file, and two contracts already have the new version.
I’ll compare the wording, not the page number.
A checkpoint before writing. You don’t change 28 files in one go without a way back.
I’ll keep the old wording for each file so the legal team can check it.

28 of 30 contracts amended. Two already had the new version — I left those alone. There’s a checkpoint from before the change, and the log shows the old and new wording for each file.

Turn this into a page I can send to the customer. The edge at 2,4 ms should be easy to see.
240,000 rows, two columns: time in seconds, voltage in volts.
The header says 500 kS/s — that matches the time steps.
Writing every point into the page would come to 40 MB, which no browser likes to open.
For each pixel column I’ll draw the minimum and the maximum. That keeps the overshoot visible and the file small.
The edge at 2,4 ms gets a marker so the customer doesn’t have to hunt for it.
Readsmessung-04.csv
Writesmessung-04.html
The edge overshoots to 5,84 V — 16,8 % above the 5,00 V — and settles again after 1,3 ms. You can zoom into the page; the marker sits on the maximum.

If you are bound by professional secrecy, you have just one question: where does the task text go? Biwak sends model context through its managed access.
Biwak model access The task text and the context it needs are sent via Biwak to the model provider. Biwak manages this access for your account.
Confidential content Check the actual processing and the agreements required before you start. The local app alone does not replace this check.
What counts is the actual processing. A local app on its own does not meet any professional secrecy requirements.

Biwak measures usage in credits: Base Camp includes 1,500 credits a month, Rope Team 9,000 credits — six times as much. How far that goes depends on the length of your documents and the performance level you choose; a short question costs a fraction of a credit, a long legal brief more. You can see your balance in your account at any time. At the start of each billing period, your allowance is full again.
Biwak (also Biwak AI, biwak.ai) is an AI agent from Munich for small and mid-sized businesses. It processes documents and analyses spreadsheets in the working folder you choose. Examples include transaction data from a bank statement, checking an order against a price list, and amending contract templates. You describe the task and check the result. How an AI agent differs from a chatbot and fixed automation.
Start with one recurring task and a copy of suitable sample files. Decide in advance on the result, the checking steps and who is responsible. Check the data flows and any agreements required before you use confidential data. Then compare processing time and errors with your previous workflow. The guide to introducing AI walks you through the pilot.
Your question, the conversation context needed and the file contents used are sent via Biwak to the model provider. For quotas and billing, Biwak also processes account and usage data.
Yes. Model tasks run through your signed-in Biwak account and an active plan.
In ~/.biwak on your computer, one append-only file per conversation. You can read, back up and delete them like any other file.
Every change is preceded by a checkpoint. One click restores the earlier state, and the restore itself can be undone. The checkpoint covers the working folder you give Biwak; it is not a substitute for a backup.
No. Model usage is included in the subscription: every plan comes with an allowance of credits that is refilled with each billing cycle. You don’t need a separate bill from a model provider for this access.
Because one request can be a single line or half a day’s work. That’s why Biwak counts in credits: a short question costs a fraction of one, a long legal brief more. You can see your balance in your account at any time.
Sign in with your Biwak account. Biwak provides the model access and manages it for your account automatically.
New model tasks need an internet connection to Biwak. Locally stored files and checkpoints stay on your device.
macOS 14 and later on Macs with Apple Silicon or Intel, and Windows 10 (1809) and later (64-bit). The current files and installation notes are on Download Biwak. Linux on request.
That depends on how you use it and the agreements this requires. Model content is sent via Biwak to the model provider in use. Assess data protection and professional secrecy against these actual data flows.
No. We do not currently commit to ISO 27001 certification or a BSI C5 attestation (the German federal cloud security standard).
You can delete local files on your device. For account and billing data, the separate deletion routes and retention periods set out in the privacy information apply.
