What ChatGPT Business and Enterprise do better
- Shared workspace: shared projects and an admin console are part of both plans; we do not currently promise a jointly edited workspace.
- Access on all devices: if you regularly switch between browser, mobile and desktop, ChatGPT offers all three.
- Selectable data residency: Enterprise customers can set storage in Europe and, where eligible, processing there too. We do not offer such a selectable region.
- Breadth of connectors: with connectors to business tools and ChatGPT Work on the computer, ChatGPT reaches beyond individual files; our agent only works with files in the folder, such as exports.
Check ChatGPT first if a shared workspace, central administration or a contractually fixed data region is essential. Test Biwak on a specific file task if a working folder with checkpoints, model processing in the EU and personal support are decisive for you.
Test case: shared project or working folder?
Take a task that several people currently depend on, such as the monthly analysis of a spreadsheet export. In ChatGPT, you upload the file to a shared project; in Biwak, you put the same export in a working folder. Then pay attention to three things: who sees the result without you forwarding it? Where is the authoritative version, in the project or as a file in the folder? And how many figures did you have to recalculate? This comparison was written by Biwak, i.e. a provider writing about its own product; it does not replace an independent test. The method is a comparison of the vendors' own information: OpenAI's own pages, including the German version of the pricing page, last checked on 23 September 2026, set against our own information on Biwak from the privacy policy and price table. There was no hands-on test of both products and no measurement, and we did not carry out the test case above ourselves; it is a guide for your own comparison. Plans and regions change quickly. Frequently asked questions
Does ChatGPT also work with files on my computer?
Yes. With ChatGPT Work, the ChatGPT desktop app can use approved files, programs and browser sessions; according to OpenAI, which features a workspace has depends on configuration and a gradual roll-out. File excerpts, inputs and screenshots may go to OpenAI in the process. OpenAI itself states that local execution means neither offline operation nor a model on the device.
Can I use my ChatGPT subscription for Biwak?
No. Biwak has its own account and bills usage in credits through its own subscription; a ChatGPT subscription does not count as credit there, and vice versa.
Is Biwak an alternative to ChatGPT for businesses?
For certain file tasks, yes. For shared projects, central team administration or a contractually fixed data region, you need to compare the required features separately. An alternative does not have to replace the full feature set of the other product.
Which tool delivers better results?
This page contains no independent performance comparison. Work through the same approved tasks with the same acceptance criteria, and count rework, source checking and costs as well.
